DR. WILL. GRAVELY
Dr. Will Gravely is the founder and lead pastor of Refuge Community Church, a multi-ethnic and cross-cultural church in Austell, GA and a visiting professor at Emory University. Will has been rooted in the Atlanta Metro area since attending and graduating from Morehouse College and completing both his Master of Divinity (Theology & The Arts) as well as his Doctor of Ministry (Church Leadership and Community Witness) at the renowned Candler School of Theology at Emory University.
Upon graduating from Candler he received the prestigious Fellowship Seminarian Award for his contributions to cross-cultural worship arts as a Master’s student and The Director’s Award given to the top student in a given Doctoral scholarship track. He and his wife Veronica founded The Stained Glass Project in 2016, a community development organization driven to connect and reflect local communities through their model, The Community HUB.
The Community HUB model connects neighborhoods around the core human needs of health, unity, and belonging in order to equip and empower neighbors to collaborate in transforming their own communities. Dr. Gravely serves as the lead strategist of the flagship Community HUB, a cultural arts center situated on 29.6 acres in Metro-Atlanta. As a gifted communicator, Dr. Will Gravely has traveled across the country sharing his message of strategic collaboration and sustainable community. Will and Veronica have 5 children and are leading a grass-roots movement to revitalize local communities by reframing the local church.

A Bit About Our Co-founder
Veronica Gravely is a seminary trained pastoral counselor with a Master of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center in the Atlanta University Center. Prior to discerning her call to ministry, Veronica graduated as a Chemical Engineer from the esteemed Georgia Tech, and continues to serve as a senior engineer in the marketplace. She is well accomplished, receiving valedictorian honors in high school, traveling internationally as a competitive cheerleader, on stages before thousands as a singer and poet, writer and contributor to several published works, and earning multiple awards and merits throughout her engineering career.

​Veronica is a strategic genius and continues to add value to companies and organizations through her gifts in efficiency, systems, and personnel development. Veronica and Will have 5 children and are leading a grass-roots movement to revitalize local communities by reframing the local church.
